The Moorings is an impressive development situated on the water’s edge of the beautiful Kingsbridge/Salcombe estuary and occupies probably the best situation in Kingsbridge. Set in attractive, shared, landscaped and enclosed gardens alongside the estuary, with occasional seating, although not suitable for children’s games, they provide an idyllic spot to appreciate the views. All the apartments enjoy these superb views from most of their rooms, balconies and/or terraces with vistas down towards Salcombe, across to the wooded banks and meadows on the opposite side and upstream to the town itself. The town, a short walk, approximately one third of a mile on the level along the embankment, has a wide range of interesting shops, restaurants, pubs and a fine leisure centre.
