There is also a well-equipped kitchen and spacious dining area on the ground floor and 1 double bedroom, a single bedroom (with 4ft bed), a Jack and Jill style bathroom and a further twin room with ensuite bathroom. To the front of the cottage there is a delightful terrace area perfect for admiring the grounds. Guests very welcome to explore the estate including the beautiful woods and the private stretch of the River Dart which passes through the grounds. A particular bonus for guests is that fly fishing for salmon and sea trout can be arranged through the owners. Dartmoor National Park covers almost 370 square miles of open grassland, granite tors and wooded valleys. With activities such as walking, horse-riding, caving, cycling, climbing and abseiling on offer there are plenty of outdoor pursuits to sample. For those not feeling quite so energetic Dartmoor is still a fantastic place to simply get some fresh air, dip your toes in a stream or sit back and enjoy a Devon cream tea.
